Welcome to the Student Development Wing (SDW) of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (AI & ML) at Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering. The SDW oversees a rich ecosystem of 10 student development bodies designed to holistically prepare students for their careers, higher studies, and civic responsibilities.


We believe that academic excellence alone is not enough. Through SDW bodies like the Higher Studies Cells, SWAD Cell, Sports Cell, and ISR, we nurture students who are not only technically proficient but also socially conscious, physically active, and personally driven.

The department hosts 6 active student chapters: AiMSA (departmental association), IEEE CS (Computer Society), IEEE CIS (Computational Intelligence Society), GeeksforGeeks (GFG Campus Body), AAAI (Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence), and INNS (International Neural Network Society).
Each chapter conducts annual induction drives at the beginning of the academic year. You can apply for core committee roles or general memberships by contacting chapter leads or filling out registration forms during induction programs.
HackMatrix 4.0 is the flagship 24-hour offline hackathon organized by GFG PCCOE in collaboration with AiMSA as part of ARTIMAS. It features a ₹75,000+ prize pool focusing on AI, ML, FinTech, and Healthcare real-world solutions.
